The vast majority of the Kiamichi community do not have the ability to obtain sufficient food on a daily basis. With no access to water for irrigation it is practically impossible to produce crops or livestock for consumption.
Our strategy is to :
- Bring immediate food to those in need.
- At the same time look at solutions to grow their own food. This could include, but not limited to:
- Community Farm
- Agriculture training and seed distribution programs
- School nutrition programs
